Is teleportation possible?

ive read in some books that phsycic's had the ability to transfer energy from one spot to another like some kind of portal then there body's and what there touching or somthing and they go from one spot to another like have you ever heard of the new movie jumper or the super heroe night crawler and stuff like that that got me thinkig i mean do they send ki energy from one spot then vooom bam there in florida or somthing i would like a good and correct answer for this one
