Dog friendly activities in LA?

Anyone know of any dog friendly activities/events in the LA area (preferably San Fernando Valley, i.e. Burbank)? My dog's pretty small and I like to carry her around with me when I can because she enjoys being with us/out & about.. Something other than the dog parks, regular parks, beaches, petco, etc.. Thanks in advance. :o)
