HELP What does this mean?

been dating a guy for almost a year(long distant relationship) have been staying in contact he comes to see me etc. the last time i saw him was about 3-4 weeks...got worried and started writing him and texting ect and no response so i thought it was over.....jjust when i was getting over the guy BAM!! HE text me and and ask what i was doing this weekend if we could get together...he claims that he was sssooo busy and thats why i haven't heard from him in a while!! WTF..honestly I want to trust him but come on who am i fooling...I dk what would u do??ladies and gentlemen
